London Borough of Havering have been awarded DEFRA funding to deliver increase active travel and air quality awareness in schools. One initiative that we’re delighted to launch is the Rainham Village Primary School Walking bus!
What is a Walking Bus?
Just like a normal bus with a designated route and stops, a walking bus is fun and safe way for children to exercise, socialise and develop valuable knowledge about road safety. The group are led by adults and walk to school together.
